These control arms have solid mounted outer ball joints (similar to the M3) doing away with that troublesome rubber infill that leads to premature failure of the joint.

The ball itself has a larger diameter thereby giving it a larger wearing area for longer life.

These joints have been tested by TUV Nord in Germany and have been proven to well exceed the durability of the OE unit.
